Company

Built by people who have had to file the response

NOA started at a prosecutor's desk, not on a whiteboard. It's a patent practitioner who has had to file these responses and an engineer who can read a decade of examiner history in the time it takes to open the file wrapper. Everything you need to prosecute well is public, enormous, and impossible to get through before the deadline — neither of us could have closed that gap alone, which is roughly the point.

Origin

"Prosecution is the only part of patent practice where the other side's entire decision history is public and almost nobody uses it. I kept thinking that was a tooling problem, not a knowledge problem — so I started pulling file wrappers on my own examiners to see what was in them. There was a pattern in everyone. NOA is what happened after I stopped being able to unsee it."

A Notice of Allowance is the only piece of mail in prosecution that everyone wants. We named the company after the outcome, not the process.

We're hiring!

Engineers who want a hard, real problem, and prosecutors who want to shape the tool.
